A day of football. Commercials. And twenty bazillion calories. According to the USDA, it’s the second highest calorie intake day of the year, Thanksgiving being first. The average American takes in about 2000 calories per day, but on Superbowl Sunday? Most people will put away that amount of calories in three hours. Yikes!
While it’s totally fine to indulge every once in a while, it’s also nice to have healthier options available so you can enjoy your game and snacks without needing to spend five hours on the treadmill the next day.
We have a bunch of healthed up favorites right here on Shrinking Kitchen, so today’s roundup is a Superbowl Roundup of all of OUR recipes that will be absolutely perfect for your Superbowl gathering.
