Football season is wrapping up, but there are still a few big games left – and what goes better with football than snacks
BEER? I know I’m going to need some major willpower to make it through the final games without going facefirst into a plate of wings or nachos. And you can only get so far with veggies and low fat ranch dip.
Thank God for Pinterest! I’ve gathered up a bunch of healthy recipes for your snacking pleasure. Enjoy!
Chili Roasted Pumpkin Seeds – spicy and crunchy, these look delish!
Skinny Spinach Artichoke Dip – a light take on a classic party appetizer.
Pickled Jalapenos and Carrots. There’s this Mexican restaurant I love and they have a salsa bar that has pickled carrots and jalapenos. It’s all I can do to not take the entire jar back to my table. YUM.
Miso Sesame Sweet Potato Dip. This would be amazing with baked pita chips, with sliced cucumber or with a spoon!
Homemade Fruit Snacks. Who says fruit snacks are just for kids?!
Creamy Curry Hummus. I love curry and I love hummus. This is genius.
Cauliflower Popcorn with Nutritional Yeast. Have you tried nutritional yeast? It’s delicious and I put it on my regular popcorn. I’m very intrigued by the cauliflower popcorn – I bet it’s to die for!
Healthy Bars. These are full of good stuff and would be awesome in a lunchbox or on game day.
Spicy Sriracha White Bean Dip. Raise your hand if you’re in love with sriracha. I’m kind of obsessed.
Baked Mozzerella Sticks. The ultimate appetizer/snack, bar none, baked not fried. Mmmmm.
