This is maybe the simplest recipe I’ve ever posted. Sometimes, simple food is the best food. This strawberry banana sorbet comes together quickly and completely satisfies the most unrelenting sweet tooth.
Trust me. My sweet tooth is ridiculous. I’m convinced it literally has a voice, a very soothing and persuasive voice. It sounds like Antonio Banderas.
Suffice it to say, I love sugar.
So when I do something crazy (but so healthy) like giving up sugar, it’s a struggle. Desserts like this sorbet, which has no refined sugar, dairy or gluten are literally life savers.
Bonus? It tastes amazing. Refreshing and indulgent at the same time. And my kids think it’s ice cream, so there’s that.
If you’re going to make this recipe, a high speed blender is pretty imperative. Make sure you break your bananas into chunks before freezing, as well. It’ll make the blending go a lot more smoothly.
Final note of advice? Freeze a bunch of bananas, cause you’ll be wanting to make this all the time. Trust me.
