We live in the country. Like way, way out in the country. The closest Walmart is 74 miles away if that tells you anything! About the only problem we have with being so far out is we never, ever get to buy ice cream (which, if we’re being completely honest isn’t all bad for me!). It just doesn’t make it home still frozen. So a couple of years ago I bought some great popsicle molds* off of Amazon for like $11 and we’ve been making our own crazy combinations since. Like these Pineapple-Mango Yogurt Pops. Could there be a better combination?
We made our very first batch of the summer this morning! I personally prefer creamy pops to juicy ones, but we rotate. Popsicles are also a great way to use up that fruit that’s almost past it’s peak.
Here’s the simple recipe – only 5 ingredients, no junk, dye, preservatives, or things you can’t pronounce! The bonus is they’re only 83 calories or 2 WW PP!!
