PEETA Chips & Roasted Red Pepper Hummus {Hunger Games Tribute}

Trust me, these pita chips are just as lovable as Peeta himself. There is nothing complicated about this recipe, it’s about as straightforward and easy as can be. Pair the chips with our roasted red pepper hummus for a perfect marriage!

PEETA Chips & Roasted Red Pepper Hummus {Hunger Games Tribute}

Gather

8 pita bread pockets (I used Joseph's Flax, Oat Bran, & Whole Wheat Pita Bread)
1/4 cup olive oil
1 Tbsp Italian Seasoning (I used Pizza & Pasta magic -YUM)

Step by step

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Cut each slice of pita bread into 8 triangles.
  3. Mix olive oil and seasonings together.
  4. Brush onto each triangle.
  5. Place onto a foil-lined cooking sheet.
  6. Bake approximately 9 minutes -watch carefully!

Calories per serving: 105 Fat: 7 g Carbs: 8 g Fiber: 4 g Sugars: 1 g

Note: There will be quite a lot of oil mixture left over, so the calorie/fat content isn't QUITE this high.
