This sheet cake is mega-good and there-in lies a problem with this cake that was *made over* by one of my favorite recipe sites, Taste of Home– it is difficult to control my appetite to only eat one slice. Thank goodness a serving is a pretty huge slice!
A sidenote for those of you doing Weight Watchers…..in my opinion, this dessert is a little high in Weight Watchers Points (WWP). I would highly recommend only have one slice (that actually goes for everyone!) or cutting the serving size in half. It’s enough to satisfy a sweet craving but not *eat* away at your daily allowance of points.
In addition, I didn’t have walnuts in my pantry when I made this sheet cake, so I substituted strawberries and I loved it! The strawberries tempered the sweetness of the frosting and took the cake to a new level of refreshing.
