At every party you go to, I bet there’s a veggie and dip tray. Am I right? But how about the fruit? It just sits there, all by its lonesome, totally neglected and devoid of any accessories.
Let’s change that! Here’s a lovely, healthy honeyed yogurt fruit dip that is amazing! It is sweetened up with honey, and cinnamon gives it some jazz hands.
(I will take any opportunity to reference jazz hands).
This dip is so versatile…breakfast? Perfect. Brunch? Lovely. Snack? Absolutely. Dessert? A perfect light and healthy end to any meal.
Whip up a batch. Your fruit will feel pretty and will thank you.
8 ounces light cream cheese, softened
8 ounces plain, fat free Greek yogurt
1/4 cup honey
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Step by Step:
1. Combine all ingredients in the bowl of a mixer.
2. Using the whisk attachment, whip on medium speed for about a minute.
3. Scrap out into a bowl and place in the fridge for at least an hour.
4. Serve with fresh fruit – strawberries, apples, pears – or even toasted almonds and walnuts.
