Today I’ve got a great kitchen tip for you – one that will make slicing meat, chicken and fish a breeze. Because sometimes you need a nice, thin slice and even the sharpest knives and the best knife skills won’t do the trick.
I mean, I like my food to be pretty. And hacked up chicken in my cobb salad or haphazard chunks of meat in my mongolian beef just makes me ANGRY. Yes, angry.
But the solution is oh, so simple. Truly.
Here’s what you do: simply pop your protein into the freezer for a few minutes until it’s firm. Then remove and immediately slice as desired.
That’s it! Perfectly sliced meat with very little effort. LOVE.
So now you have absolutely no excuse for being lazy when you are slicing meat.
(That just sounded wrong).
