In our house we practically eat our weight in broccoli. Daily. Okay, not really daily, but maybe yearly. I’ve actually planted broccoli in our garden the past few years because I spend so much money on it! My kids adore broccoli, and who am I to discourage the eating of the trees. With so much broccoli consumption happening, it’s tricky to come up with new ways to serve it. Our typical broccoli fare includes steamed, roasted, and sautéed. Tonight I tossed in a few sesame seeds and a pinch of cumin and we had a winner: Fragrant Sautéed Broccoli.
I think it was fantastic considering I was literally grasping at spices in my cupboard. A dash of this and a pinch of that and BAM, a new favorite was born. The beauty of this recipe is it is Clean and Vegan as well!
I’m going to share the recipe with you and I hope the next time you hear you scream, I scream, we all scream for broc-co-lis is chanted, you’ll whip up this yummy and EASY recipe! Okay, so your family probably won’t scream for broccoli, but you know, make it for them anyway!
Let me know your favorite way to prepare the little green trees!
