Cocoa Oat Truffles

Healthy truffles?

It’s true. These delicious little treats are raw, vegan, contain no processed sweetners (unless you dust them with powdered sugar) and are a perfect treat for when your sweet tooth is screaming at you.

Keep a batch in the freezer or fridge for those days when you NEED chocolate (who am I kidding…that’s pretty much everyday for me).

Pinch ground cinnamon

  3. Place remaining cocoa powder in a shallow bowl.
  4. Roll truffle mixture into balls about 2 teaspoons each, pressing firmly for mixture to stick together. Roll truffles in cocoa powder and dust lightly with powdered sugar if desired.
  5. Chill until ready to serve.

How do you think they’d be with natual peanut butter instead of almond butter?

    • Heather

I think they’d be great with peanut butter! They’d be a lot like the no-bake cookies (oats, chocolate chips, butter, tons of sugar) that my MIL used to make. But healthier, of course :)

love it, my grandmother used to make something similar with cocoa and peanut butter oat balls, but the added dates and spices make these look amazing!  I can’t wait to try them.
