Do me a favor. Make this chocolate yogurt bread NOW. Seriously. Right now. You will praise the day I was born for sharing this delicious, and sinful-tasting recipe with you.
I came across this recipe on Pinterest. Of course. While the original recipe was perfectly fine, I did spiff it up a little because honestly, I just can’t use one cup of white sugar in ANYTHING. It’s against my religion. So I used Stevia in the Raw and it was perfect. I promise.
Here are a few more words I came up with to describe to chocolate yogurt bread:
Decadent. Oh, my. If you didn’t know any better, you’d probably want to run a mile after you have a slice of this bread. It tastes so good, it’s hard to believe it’s not bad.
Sinful. See decadent above.
Soft. A beautiful glossy crust forms on the his bread, but don’t let that fool you because inside it is soft and spongy!!!
Not dry (because I cannot stand to use the M-word ;). This bread is so not dry. Trust me. The yogurt gives this bread such a nice texture, and the chocolate chips give it tiny little bursts of extra moisture.
Chocolicious. Chocolate bread with chocolate chips. Need I say more?
Sweet. But not too sweet. Just the right amount of sweetness so you can eat it for breakfast and feel good about it.
You could add a little sprinkling of cinnamon to change it up bit as well!
Just go ahead and make it now. And come back and tell me what you think (after you try not to eat the whole loaf).
You also might have to hide it from your kids. I’m just sayin’.
