I’m always playing around with smoothies. Adding vegetables, trying a different type of milk, throwing in seeds and whatever fruit I’ve got that needs to be used up.
Last week, I had some peaches that needed to be used. But I was like, ugh. Peaches and their fuzzy skin. I’m not a fan and I hate peeling them. So I wondered if I could throw a whole (pitted, of course, duh!) peach into the blender and just blend up the fuzzy skin.
So I gave it a go…and it worked! I threw it in the blender with some hemp hearts, coconut milk and some super creamy California Avocado. Have you tried avocados in smoothies? They’re an fabulously delicious and healthy way to make your smoothie next level creamy and decadent. Depending on what you mix them with, they don’t really add a distinct flavor, so if you have any avocado shunners, this is a great way to get them the healthy fats and nutrients from avocado without them even knowing!
Enjoy this smoothie in the morning for a quick, on the go breakfast, or as pre or post workout boost!
