I’m currently having a love affair with Apple Cider Vinegar. I’ve caught myself taking nose hits (do not try this at home) off the bottle this week, and I’ve almost actually tried to drink it to see if it tastes as good as it smells. So, I knew that I had to create something yummy and bacony with it – Apple Cider Vinegar Bacon Brussels Sprouts. Lets be real…the much maligned Brussels Sprout needs some bacony loving, you know?
(By the way, vinegar is really good for you. Some people really do drink Apple Cider Vinegar! Heather wrote a great post awhile back on all the ins and outs of vinegar. It adds great flavor for zero calories…win!)
Have you ever tried bacon and apple cider vinegar together before? It’s a match made in tangy, sweet, savory heaven. I promise you’ll love it!
My kids were a little skeptical, but they tried them and didn’t run screaming. HELLO, it’s Brussels sprouts, so the fact that my kids eat them is awesome! Pretty much a miracle. Try them out on your family, they will not be able to resist the bacony goodness!
